HASport is working on a bunch of motor mounts for the K swap right now, hopefully when the price tag for a type-s motor drops in a few years i'll be building one of those up instead.

It woul be cheaper to buy a base model block, then buy a type S head. Makes no sense to me, but its true.

True, but i think Sport Compact Car said that there was some kind of difference between trim levels with the engines. Like that the base models had weaknesses. Not sure....i have to read up on my K-motors. Switching my car to OBD2 would be a pain in the ass though and i heard the wiring is a pain to do as well.
