2 fast 2 furious   Posted Sun Aug 31, 03   12:20 AM

Now i dont think im the only person who thinks this movie sucked, but thats not what im getting at. This movie should have included A WRX STI instead fo that crappy Eclipse Spyder. Also, no Rx-7?? I mean cmon, i know i like them waay too much and all, but its better then an S200. Jus wanna hear ur opinion on it.

yes the movie was horrible!

but what do film makers make movies for? MONEY!

they wanted to appeal to the ricer street racers and no the true racers. it sucks but the ricers do out # us quite a bit. so instead of putting an extremely bad as car to us (sti) they put in the bling bling eclipse spyder to appeal to the majority. i love marketing!

Well... I downloaded it the other night... only took an hour or so... gotta love the DSL... downloaded at a constant rate of 250kb/sec.... hehe...

i've only watched that first race in the beginning... and ya.. theres an rx-7... 3rd gen, i guess? the latino-lookin dude was drivin it... liked that skyline... neons were ghey, but other'n that the skyline was pretty tight...

i'll prolly burn it on a DVD and watch it this weekend...

yes and you also need at the very least basic dvd authoring software so that you can:

1. convert the mpeg to the properly layered type of mpeg encoding.

2. author (ie build) the accompanying files that tell the dvd player to either star playing, go to a menu, etc.

said software if obtained legally, plus said hardware will run you around $1500. but that's for the good stuff. the bottom line is, it's not like putting mp3's on an audio cd with toast or some similar software.

yup... not cheap stuff... altho... the software i have for converting the mpegs was obtained completely legally and was completely free [External Image Removed]www.pricewatch.com is a good place to get computer gear for much less... heh... i burned a DVD of Two Towers a week before it was released in theatres... and it wasn't any crappy camcorder copy either... was a DVD Screener that a friend got me and i copied... i'll prolly burn 2f2f later and watch it with a couple buds this weekend...
