dude... i've spent around $4grand, about the price you'd pay for an intercooler and turbo once you already had a car, and my engine should have over 600-dome-odd horses....

you see... i spent $500 on a chassis and crapped out engine... then around $3500 on a block and parts... and using my good ol' hick smarts and the smarts of hick friends of mine whose parents have been modding cars since before your parents knew what a car was... and you see, us hicks KNOW OUR SHIT and we can build horsepower that would make you wet yourself for one third of the cost that import guys can...

now... being a ricer is not putting type arrrr stickers and aluminum spoilers, being a ricer is a mindset... therefore, if you dont have the cash, you can be a ricer without buying them type arrrrr stickers and aluminum spoilers and body kits...

and... once i get my block back from being shot-peened and bored and my heads from bein ported and polished, i'll begin assemblin my 383 stroker and once i get some money for a transmission and find one that'll work in my car, i'll have a 600-some-odd N/A epower car that weighs 2500 lbs... and you see... a good friend of mine has 425 HP and he runs 11.6 in the 1/4... add 175 horsepower to that, the equivalent of one type arrrrrrr civic or whatnot, and i should be runnin a bit faster than 11... hoefully... lol.... all the while spending around $4500...

now... i'm not knocking import guys.... you import dudes that AREN'T ricers know your shit.... now you ricers... you all oughtta take a class or read a book or hang up your keys 'cuz you're all dumbfucks...

400 horsepower from a 4-banger is impressive while 400 horsepower from a V8 isn't, i'll admit that... but you cant compare the two together... its a simple question of ratios... 400 horsepower from a 4-banger is 100 horsepower per cylinder.... now 400 horsepower from a V8 is 50 horsepower per cylinder... now if you want to compare the two, you really need to use equal ratios man... if you want to compare the 4-banger and V8, you have to use 400 and 800 horsepwer respectively... now.... 400 horses from a I4 is impressive.... but i'm sure everyone here will agree that 800 horses from a V8 will help run much faster ET's...

there simply is no subsitute for cubes.... you do everything you do to your I4 and you do the same to a V8, you will always get more horses from the V8.... simply a fact... no arguable point about it... its fact...
