Dual to Multi point FI   Posted Mon Oct 28, 02   4:10 PM

Anyone on here have much experiance converting their fuel injection from dual point to multi point? I've looked into some companies, like HASport, and their "wiring adapter kits," which they describe as being a plug and play type of thing, however, they then go on to say that they'll need my original harness. This is the only step, (besides smog), that is worrying me about swaping in a B16...

is dual point like a 2bbl throttle body injection w/ two injectors or twin injector per cylinder? the only thing i've ever heard of similar to dual point is the mini cooper's twin point injection (two injectors).

i'm curious.

It would be simular to the Mini's I guess. Instead of the injectors hooked to each track on the intake, there are two injectors right after the throttle body. This is fine for gas milage, but it doesn't respond well to hop ups and I need to convert to multipoint if I want to run better engines, like the DOHC VTEC's.

Come on man you should know to ask me? what's up you know I have your back dude....if you want I can send you the schematics and teach you through email or talk you through it once I send you the stuff....you'll need an Si distributor, ecu, intake manifold and throttle body set up, injector resistor box....and some wire and crimpers unless you know how to sodder. you'll have to re-wire your distributor and wire on the ecu side. it'll be A1 and A3 B10 and B12, C1 and C2 just let me know. I can PM you the stuff or email you.....it's not that bad man believe me. If anything it would be worth it to get rid of that crap! I hate the DX! but I left my DX badge on! =) who needs to know?
