I have no idea what the american version of this car would be. I found like 80 websites on it and not one that had any information on it was in english. My japanese is limited and my german and french is nonexsistant. HOWEVER I did find some sweet as pictures of this thing. and A FEW specs. here are the links you may want to go to to see this BAD ASSED car:

http://www.teampetronas.com/cars/carina.html

http://www.geocities.co.jp/MotorCity-Pit/8728/

this is probably the best of the three. it offers multiple variations and photos of the car.

dude, i have one of those!!! they call mine a prizm, and the bitch won't start worth a shit, cause i won't spend any money on a new battery. it's had a prizm battery (it died), then a bmw 3.0 cs battery (it's on it's last leg and in the car right now), an IH Scout II battery (it started the car, but the sucker won't fit under the hood), and a jag xjs battery (it fits, it works, it's next).

it looks like a corolla, but it appears to have a more souped up twin cam instead of the 1.6l single cam that i've got in my '91.

i don't care what ANY of you say, these cars kick ass and take names, i personally trounced an infinity on an old country road in this thing last week, passed him at about 75mph in a 45mph zone, he tried to catch up but i think it was freaking him out that i was on 3 wheels most of the time...
