Hey everyone, I found out about this place last night and I already wanted to register, please don't flame me!

Okay, so a Porsche Carrera 911 is one of my favorite cars. But a couple months ago I was at a car show and I saw a car there that looked like one. So I said to the owner "Nice Porsche" and the guy said "That's no Porsche, it's a Gemballa" so I'd like to know, is Porsche a faster version of a Gemballa(Like Honda and Acura or Toyota and Scion) or is Gemballa a foreign distributor of Porsche. Or something else.

Now I could be wrong but my guess is that Gemballa to Porsche is like Saleen is to Ford, basically take the base model and make it perform better.

RUF goes beyond being a modifier of cars. For example, an SVT Cobra is different from the GT because it has minor differences in body style and trim (badges, stiching etc) aside from motor work and a supercharger. A RUF is different from its porsche counterpart in just about every way imagineable. Motor work, turbo work, carbon fiber or kevlar everything (from door panels and trim pieces to actual body parts). RUF's are amazing.

Haha sweet, that's past cool. If I ever somehow got porsche(I SUPPOSE I COULD BORROW ONE FROM SWEETNEON'S FLEET) HE WOULDN'T MIND CONSIDERIG HE HAS 69 MORE! I woul definately do that. thanks everyone on this board for teaching me about porsches!
