Question: buddhakwake umm did you say your car was $17200 or was that how much you spent on parts?

That was the car. Haven't spent anything on aftermarket parts yet, as I don't have the money currently (and am saving up for a 4th gen 3sge for my MKI MR2). Brand new off the lot, it came to 19700 with tax, title, and license. I consider it a great investment, though tires are going to cost me, since it lays down rubber quite easily.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, a half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Since it's the only one currently street legal, yes. But I race purely for fun, I don't make enough money to gamble on anything (I don't even play at the local casinos).

I know people who race for money, but they make their money illegally to start with, so they don't care. I don't race for money, cause I don't have enough. I suppose if I did, I might use it instead to race on an actual track (since I'd find it more fulfilling).

Listen, You can get a civic for $10,000 in Si form. Just save up your earnings from selling tortillas, and maybe you can get one.
