well, most likely the stupidest and most dangerous thing I've ever done was on a CR80 I had when I was twelve. I was starting off (in front of my parents with my paranoid mom) when I hit the gas hard and headed straight for a water company building at full throttle. I swerved it and managed to avoid the building, but not before scaring my mom and my non-paranoid dad. Of course there is also the time that I had my v6 Camry going 125 on the frontage road for I-10 between Cabazon and Verbenia and only slowed down to 45 for the turn to the overpass and my rear end ended up in the dirt and I came within about 10 feet of hitting a tree. Or maybe the time that I got up to 135 on the I-10 in my MR2 at 3 AM. I just can't stand flying and I've seen too many movies where bad things happen on boats, so I stick to things with wheels that are meant to use the wheels permanently.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, a half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

That dude is most definitely retarded , its kinda hard to see that you question that your mustang would beat that civic. Sounds like you dont have alot of faith in your ride.
Just race him and then see, i could go ahead and tell you the outcome because its obvious. If you lose it would be your fault not the cars.

it is honestly true you have no clue what you are talking about... and as for imports making things easier budd have you tryed to fix the wireing on even the newer "jap technology" cars that have gone bad... id rather spend my time desighning a hybred top fuel drag car. if something goes wrong with half the jap..ect cars there is only very few mechanics that will work on it.. because half of them wont touch the cars.. hell like i said before my buddy has a 1090 300ZX and not a soul in the S.C. region will touch it..

Double reply here. #1, nobody touches your buddies 300zx because there probably isnt anybody there who is a Nissan specialist, you live in S.C, there probably isnt any specialist for japanese cars. #2, your civic wont beat a mustang, not even close, especially if it isnt an Si. My Legend evened out with a base stang and it would smoke the shit out of any civic.
