Cheap Car Stereo Components. . .   Posted Sat Dec 18, 04   8:41 AM

I am looking for two Kicker Solo-Baric S8L7 or S8L5 8-inch square subs for my reg. cab Ranger. Does anyone know where I can order them in a pair for about $150-$170 or cheaper if possible?
I also need a compact 2 channel amp. Something similar in size to an MTX Thunder 202 amp. But maybe a bit more power? I have limited space so I need a very compact 2 channel amp that pushes 200+ watts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, i'm good with installation but i dont know much about car stereos. Is bigger always better with amps? or is it amp quality that matters? I want loud, hard bass, but i need a compact amp. Would 60W or so on each channel at 4 ohms sound good? Someone tell me a bit about amps.

This belongs in the Classifieds section.

People view this forum more than the classifieds, so I figured I would get more replies in this one. Plus this is a general discussion forum where we can generally discuss good buys on car audio products.

Not to mention he asked some general questions about stereo components and quality.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, a half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
