Mk1 MR-2 Versus Miata


what u guys think? All things considered
(ie. Price, Availability, aftermarket, power, handling, reliability, space, safety, labor, and future reference of knowledge, etc)


Im still crossed between the two, cause when i choose one, the other seems to come back to me every time.

Ill probably be in the $2000 to $2500 range when ill most likely need it. $3000 max probably.

my gut says MR2, but the miata would be easier to work on.

gut reaction would be MR2. I just like them better.

However you'd probably be a-ok with either.

I still say Miata. If it was a second gen MR2 maybe, but I like the simplicity of the MX5.

Get the Miata. Doesn't take much to make it a very scary ride. Plus, I think it looks better. The current MR2 model looks like it is too short, lengthwise.
