that dash looks badass man....

lets see... what i'm driving is a 1995 Grand Am GT with a Quad 4 High Output and upgraded computer with a 3.94 Final Drive 5-Speed tranny... its for sale to fund my fun project

right now my fiero has no engine and very little interior... read my sig to see what i'm workin on for it... also have a 2003 Mitsu Lancer OZ Rally Edition... bone stock... nice import with gooooood gas milage like a 2L DOHC motor i think... wimpy 140-some-odd horsepower...

i got the Ol' 1973 Ford Mustang Coupe

351ci Cleveland V8 with 2v cylinder heads
Stock internals, balanced and blueprinted
Edelbrock Performer Intake, Edelbrock Performer 600cfm carb
Hooker Competition Headers, custom 2.5 inch piping , Magnaflow X-pipe, Flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers
Midrange RV cam (midrange torque for cruising)
The usual dresup goodies
Stock FMX tranny with stock torque convertor
2.75 open 9 inch rear
Exterior Completely stock, Stock Mach 1 rims 14x6
Interior stock, except it has a mach 1 gauge package, i removed the center console, and i have a grant steering wheel on.

Pics can be seen on www.cardomain.com/id/metal351 . Its a cruiser... off the line it sucks, but above 35mph it hauls haha. Probably runs around mid 14s in the quarter mile, very close to stock, runs smooth and reliably.

speakin of mustangs... a friend of mine just bought a 92 5-0 i think 2 days ago... I haven't seen it yet, but the mechanic that did the inspection on the car said it had the cobra engine? does that mean its supercharged or was there something else they did to the cobra engines? I haven't had the chance to check the car out yet so i really know nothin about it other'n its a 92 5-0 and i think its green and has a manual 5spd tranny... lol... hopefully i'll get to see/drive it this weekend

Great thread.
His Type R seats are niiiiice to, (I’ve sat in them.)

Anywho, here's the Zed's info:

1970 Datsun 240Z, (70's are damn rare.)
L24 2.4 OHC I6, Iron Block and E31, (Higher CR), Aluminum Head.
83 ZX 5 speed.
2.5 header-back exhaust, with a ricey fart cannon :P
Motor also rebuilt about 5000 miles ago.

Reupholstered stock interior.

It’s rated at 150HP and 150lbs. stock; not sure what the exhaust added. Either way it can scoot pretty good, and the turns are even more fun.

Displacement: 5.0 liter/302 cid

well if it is a 92 its not really a cobra. because the 93 was i think the only other time they made a cobra for that car other than 79. between 79-93 the entire existence of the fox body mustang the cobra was only made twice. 79 & 93. and other than 2003 you will not find any late model mustangs with a supercharger from the factory. now a turbo on the other hand they made a mustang GT Turbo for a few years that was a turbo 4banger like the SVO mustang was
