yeah well as i said it's my project car, im going to be giving her a good paint job in about a month, then comes RWC then REGO then engine parts, we will see if i keep it or sell it, but im going to keep the spoiler on, coz if i sell it someone might want it so i will keep it on, those spoliers are worth about $300, i am going to paint spoiler, bumpers and grille black, rest of car light blue, then put some clear over hole car and in the clear put some gliter, and paint, bumper, rear spoiler, grille and hole body with it, then get some chrome 12 slotters.
i know it's a shock to most people for me to go to something like this from what i have had, but i wanted something like this to work on and improve my skills on, to me it don't matter what car u have u can make anything into a good, fast car, and to me this is going to be the car im working on, like it or not thats the car.

considering i paid $100 for it off a someone i know i think it's pretty good

Man... if THAT wing is worth $300, then the wing on my fiero must be worth like $1grand... If someone would pay $300 for a tiny wing like that, they're retarded... the wing on my fiero is literally TWO or THREE TIMES that size and in perfect condition with glossy red paint and i believe its worth to be around $150....

ok I remember talking to you about mods on the car and we were talking some improvements to your air systems and some other preformance upgrades. You mentioned nothing of painting ther car. isn't the car already light blue? Won't this take money away from preformance? Isn't the car butt ugly anyway?

I don't get why you're going to put money into painting a car that is only going to get "ohhs" and "ahhhs" on the track. I thought we were going preformance.

well, im talking $300 Australian not US, plus it's off a XY GT those wings are hard to find.(plus it only looks small, in real life it's pretty big, it's just that car is very wide so spoiler looks small)
and phatmatt yes im going performance but im giving it a good paint job, i can do it myslef for about $80, nothing really, and so it will look not to bad and have good performance

I went looking for information on this car and found DIDLEY. I looked for two hours and basically found that the XD has a 4.1 V6 and runs about 160hp stock. There are tons of variations for this car, and it's a pain in the ass to find information on. I questioned Storm about the car, but I didn't get much out of him.

I DO still want to help Storm, but I need more info on the car. I don't know Aussie cars.

I'm actually pretty curious about it, if anyone DOES find anything on this car, please share it with me.

aww hell i was just givin ya a hard time about calling me ugly mug...lol!

it's a straight six, not a v6, yeah? cross flow head or not? (ie are the intake and exhaust on one side of the head or intake on one side, exhaust on the other?) that'll determine a lot of your options right there.

yes It is a straight six, my appologies. I haven't slept in a while. I don't recall if it was a cross flow or not. But for some reason I think I found that out. I want to say yes, but I'll have to check. Maybe I saved it someplace.
