That would be Banning, which is now being pushed back to May or "early summer". It was supposed to be open back in September with a event scheduled, but they keep getting delays. I think they are past their final hurdle with construction to begin sometime soon. Go to www.drag-city.com for more info.

Oh I remember those days.. I remember them well.. I was always breathing fire down this kid's neck.. he seems pretty chill now though. Yah.. I dunno what's up with drag city.. just seems to be one delay after another. Anyone hear anything about PSIR going in? No shit - Palm Springs International Raceway is approved and in the funding stage.. get this - a $355 million dollar facility with every form of racing imaginable.. it's own casino and hotel. All in thousand palms. Ho-ly *shit*. I think the website is psir.net or something.. I'd have to look it up again. You have to see the drawings for this place.. yikes. Makes drag city look like mcdonalds playplace.

That is a VERY old project and they never got all the land to do it. We went to some of the town meetings and the builder may have been too overwhelming with such a large project, the old folks weren't too interested. I've "heard" there is something smaller in the works, but until it happens it is just like Drag City.

all i really know about his civic is that its a hatchback, bodykit/spoiler (you know all that fiberglass stuff that makes your car look more then its worth), he just got some integra engine thing put it (its been in the shop for god knows how long), and two really loud mufflers. i'll bug him later for details if anyone cares :/
