Because it's a F1 Ferrari that revs to 15000 RPM+ The voices were imitating the sound of one, and it's pretty close

yeah it is pretty close, but the difference in really being there is that you hear the same 'bom-ba-da-d-d-om-dom' every time a car goes in front of you, because they all shift in the same spot EVERY TIME...
god it's annoying. those cars are phenomenal, but a cart or f1 race ain't no fun to watch until somebody wrecks. the pits are cool though...

F1 one pits are insane. A bazzilion guys on the car plus there's no barriers... Makes for fast pit stops though.

Nascar is boring to me, with exception of crashes and old nascar in the 50s, 60s , and early 70s. My favorite racing is Rally, Drag, and TOCA or Trans-Am. Not really in that order.
Every morning at 6:30am car and track with Bud Lindamen (probably not spelled right, but whats new..) is on speedvision. I highly suggest watching it if you are awake at that time. That show is the only thing waking me up enough in the morning to go to school ehhe.
I absolutely love that show... testing cars brand new from the 60s and 70s, and featuring racing and car shows from back then.

Thanks for the heads up dude I have the speed channel, or the Nascar channel ever since Fox bought it up, and enjoy the good races they some times show. Especially the Speed Challenge, Touring and GT. Rally is also real cool...
