depending on where you live in california yeah in like luisianna i don't even think they test emissions up here they jsut started emission testing cars 2 years ago anything under 20 years old needs to be tested

yeah it really depends where you live, i mean if you live in or near the big City (Los Angeles, San Diego) i would guess it is more strict there than places like the coachella Valley, but i may be wrong.

I gotta give props where props are due. BUT on the downside, MI has less check-ups and stupid light and noise restrictions. But emission standards are non-existant over here. Come to Michigan! Ruin our atmosphere and have one hell of a time doing it!
