well i checked your numbers just for fun and yah that comes out to 554.981184 but i rounded off pi so yah i believe you. and as for biggest cubes anyone ever heard of the cummons inline six at a total of 18.8 litres i think someithng like that don't got one never will but it's big, and yah i'm from canada the course i took was basic highschool auto mechanics, and yah if we wanted work done we had to pay for the materials. Labor and the HUGE bookshelf of service manuals were free to use and tools were there as well

well my heads make the extra 2ci cause of the size of the chambers.

yah they have the new 572 crate motor and the 2 ci is because i rounded off pi in the formula should be 3.147654321ect.... i used 3.14 cuz i can't remember the rest

your HEADS make the extra 2ci because of the chambers? that's not displacement. displacement is the volume your piston occupies during it's stroke. the only thing your cc's of your combustion chamber does is change the actual compression ratio.

damn kiddo, don't make me smack you, i know you know more than this!! the only way your cc would have anything to do with displacement is if your piston went past the deck height and into the cc. and i'm not talking about a dome, because anything you gain at the top end with a dome is subtracted from your starting point at bdc.

hmmm, am i smoking crack? i think that is correct, isn't it? now i'm starting to doubt myself. you damn fools!! ;-)

oh, and i still had the biggest pistons. my 530ci mill is a 1 cylinder. 7.05 bore, 13.52" stroke. ;-)

btw, what's a 383 stroker? i thought the bore was 4.030. what's the stroke? or what's the stroke of a 400?

i'm not sure i used the formula and don't have exact numbers for pi or for a decimal in the overall ci (doubt it's 383 on the dot) but i got 3.783 so it should be in that general area but i could be wrong
