I PERSONALLY DON'T THINK MUSTANGS ARE MUSCLE CARS BASICALLY BECAUSE THEY MADE THE 289 THEN THE 302 AND DIDN'T MAKE MUCH OF THE 351 AND ALL THOSE ARENT CRAP COMPARED TO THE CHEVY MADE 305,327, AND THE BEST AND EVER POPULAR 350! SO I WOULD HAVE TO STICK WITH THE CHEVY!

Dont forget about the Ford panteras... those things totaly kicked ass.... 351 clevelands to the max. If you find the right parts for your application, the cleveland motor will kick all ass, especially stroked and bored... i know when im done modding the top end of my pony, it will be pushing around 350 horses, and torque curve should be much higher... and thats runnign all stock bottom end... you name it, its stock... just from cam, intake, carb, i can jump my car up 200 horses at the rear wheels.. too bad i will lose my 20 mpg .. lol.. by the way, the mustang is a "pony car", aswell as the camaro and challenger(sometimes) are usually referred to.. they all competed in the trans am races...
Any kind of american made auto, is the best made auto. Mopar, Chevy, and Ford All kick ass to me. I will pass on the imports thank you very much.
