How exactly did you bore that hemi out to a 454? The standard bore of the 426 is 4.25” and the stroke is 3.75”. Typically most overbore pistons come in .030, .040, and .060 oversize. So if you went with the .060 and you punched your block out to 4.31” you would have a max of 437 cubic inches. You would need to punch your block out to a 4.39” to achieve a 454, also going with a .14 overbore piston! I checked summit and the biggest overbore piston available is the .060. So I think your full of crap.

What kind of reply is that? Listen fuck face I wasn’t talking to you. Do you see where it has [re: 69charger] at the top of my post? That means I’m replying to him, not you. Regardless I can understand your confusion, why would anybody be posting anything about cars on this forum…

Are your seriously going to try to bs your way out of this by saying you forged your own pistons? You are a complete idiot. If you are going to try to lie at least make it slightly believable. So why don’t you give us all a good laugh and let us know exactly the procedure that you used to forge your own pistons.

What a fucking joke you are.

P.S. what extra block preparation did you do to give it a .14” over bore? There is a reason that you typically can’t get a piston over .060”. Care to make a guess why.
