i'm constantly chirping my tires... and not on purpose...
Turning corners is the worst, but that thing is so fucking touchy they chirp when i leave a light... could anything be wrong? or just wait til I get my new tires?

how hard do you drive the thing? they shouldn't chirp unless you want them to, the only car i've seen that chirped like that had a fully locked rear diff and a 466 ci drag moto and you'r truck is stock from what i hear

have the alignment checked. if the rear axle is sitting cockeyed, it'll bark all the time.

It's an automatic... I drive it pretty crazy still, cuz it's new... and I think it does need a pretty bad alignment... thanks guys

speaking of alignment in my cougar to make it go straigt i have to have the wheel cocked a lil to the right....if i let the wheel go straight it pulls me to the left....any ideas

if it is a track rod setup, your track rod is off a (ie both threaded tie rod ends are off in one direction). at least, that's the easiest way to fix it, is to back them both off in the other direction. the cause is based upon the wheel moving between times the splines were engaged. ie somebody changed either the steering column, linkage or ps unit and when they put it back together it was off a spline or two.

it could get fucked up in a million ways. not necessarily some sort of replacement. if the steering alignment was set with the wheel cocked a bit, it could easily be cockeyed on the column when tracking straight down the road.

my dodge does the same thing. just hold the wheel elsewhere.
