i would have hit the rev limiter in the first four gears...

I gotta give him props for video taping, shifting and driving all at the same time. Although even when he was being video taped he was missin gears. But I'm not makin any fun, he could be having other problems that don't let him slam gears like I would. Your cars ugly as fuck but it looks like it runs decent. Hey neon boy maybe you could come on the fourms and be a helpful contributer instead of a little asshole, just a thought!

i didnt miss a gear smart guy, yea i do have other problems that make the tranny hard to shift like the fact it has over 200,000 racing miles on it and its fucked up, but its all good i have a close ratio pt cruzer lsd tranny waiting to go in with my new motor

nope im staying with manual, automatic's are not good for all motor set ups

some came manual with the normal 3.94 gear ratio like all the dohc neons but the pt had a hydro set up not cable and could handle more torque then 1st gen 3.94 trans

200,000 racing miles??? holy shit how long has that thing been on the road? and it's a drag car hows that possible racing 1/4 at a time unless you road race it to or sometihng

well when it use to be a street car i wouldnt call it normal driveing miles on that tranny, but yea the tranny i would guess has 250,000+ miles on it over the years
